At Rednal Hill Junior we aim to help pupils understand and develop their roles and responsibilities as members of both the school and the local community.
To help realise this aim we have a School Council made up of elected representatives from each class. The council meets on a regular basis to discuss matters of concern and potential improvements identified by pupils.
“ If you want to be in the School Council you need to give a speech to your class and can make posters and leaflets to persuade people to vote for you. Voting day is very exciting with voters placing a cross on the ballot paper for their chosen person. They then slot their vote into the ballot box. Afterwards the winner is announced.”
