Rednal Hill Junior School is a full and popular school located near to the Lickey Hills and developing Longbridge area. We are a friendly, welcoming three form entry junior school which is passionate about providing the best possible learning for its children.
We have been on an incredible journey over the last few years. OFSTED wrote in 2021:
“Despite the considerable challenge of the last year, leaders and governors remain committed to improving the quality of education for pupils.”
We are seeking to appoint a Cover Supervisor on a permanent contract to provide stability and continuity for our children when there is short-term teaching staff absence. The successful applicant will be responsible for instructing pupils with work set by the teacher/school. In addition to this, when not supervising children, the role will involve supporting the learning of children in a designated year group.
Applicants should have good communication skills, flexibility, patience, resilience, and the ability to understand the needs of pupils. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching lessons, preparing materials, displays and undertaking other duties including extra-curricular activities. Applicants should also be organised and able to work under pressure both alone and as a member of a team.
In return we can offer you: the chance to work with a wonderful group of children, a happy and welcoming school, friendly staff and a supportive Leadership Team
If you are interested in working in an exciting, forward-thinking school, with a real focus on ‘improving provision and outcomes for all our pupils’, then we would like to hear from you.
Visits to the school by prior arrangement are both welcomed and encouraged.
Please contact the school to arrange an appointment.
Closing Date: 12pm, Friday 1st October
Interviews will be held the Week beginning 11th October or earlier if possible
